How to Engage

Just like any professional career, our client relationships are evolutionary in nature. Much of the work we do with our clients is very complex, and often sensitive in nature. However, the client relationship did not start that way – it evolved over time as the comfort level increased. Almost every client relationship started with an informal conversation. Most introductions come from a common acquaintance or as a referral from a satisfied client. Many times, depending of course on the level of urgency, the introductory period and “sales cycle” is quite long, and that is done intentionally to create as much comfort as possible before engaging in the working relationship. We are perfectly OK with having numbers of preliminary visits, during which we will attempt to address as many of your concerns as possible, before ever asking for your business. As eager as we are to be of help to you and to your organization, we want to first take every measure to assure that you are comfortable with us and feel that you know us.

We look forward to meeting you, and to discussing your situation and needs. Be assured that any such exploratory visits will be both complimentary and totally confidential. Many times the client needs to “try us on” and “wear us around for awhile” before engaging, and since we completely understand that desire we will give you plenty of space while you make your decision. However, if your situation requires more immediate action, be assured we will move quickly and with the appropriate sense of urgency.

In short, we’ll meet you on your terms, we’ll proceed at your pace, and we will make every effort to answer your questions and address your issues before asking you to engage.
